Hints: Let the first number be x.
Then the six consecutive odd numbers are : x, x + 2, x + 4, x + 6, x + 8, x + 10.
Now, x + x + 2 + x + 4 + x + 6 + x + 8 + x + 10 = 2(x + 10) + 38
6x + 30 = 2x + 20 + 38
4x = 28
x = 7
Sum of the six number = 6x + 30 = 6× 7 + 30 = 72
